I liked the experience of learning English at the University, especially the participation among colleagues to make presentations and exchange ideas in English.
I also liked the use of blogs, although I consider that it is more important to reinforce oral language, which has been accomplished with the spoken activities and group or pair expositions. I believe that the spoken language is the most important to learn English because it is the one that will finally be used in the event of a possible trip to an English-speaking country, that is, the written language takes a back seat, the opposite of Chilean education.
I plan to improve this aspect for myself by listening to songs in English, in fact this has been the way I have learned English more than the classes themselves because I am interested in understanding what I hear. I have also been recommended to watch series in English with English subtitles to better relate the words to their pronunciation.
Outside of English classes I have used the language to speak with my sister. She is not an English speaker but she has had a hard time learning it at university so we have practiced speaking English to each other to get used to speaking and listening to it.
I have also used English to understand the songs I listen to, the ones that are written mostly in English. I do not know why I am interested in understanding the lyrics of what I hear, but this has helped me a lot to learn English since at school they only taught me to conjugate verbs, which is not a true learning of the language
