I liked the experience of learning English at the University, especially the participation among colleagues to make presentations and exchange ideas in English.

I also liked the use of blogs, although I consider that it is more important to reinforce oral language, which has been accomplished with the spoken activities and group or pair expositions.  I believe that the spoken language is the most important to learn English because it is the one that will finally be used in the event of a possible trip to an English-speaking country, that is, the written language takes a back seat, the opposite of Chilean education.

I plan to improve this aspect for myself by listening to songs in English, in fact this has been the way I have learned English more than the classes themselves because I am interested in understanding what I hear.  I have also been recommended to watch series in English with English subtitles to better relate the words to their pronunciation.

Outside of English classes I have used the language to speak with my sister.  She is not an English speaker but she has had a hard time learning it at university so we have practiced speaking English to each other to get used to speaking and listening to it.

I have also used English to understand the songs I listen to, the ones that are written mostly in English.  I do not know why I am interested in understanding the lyrics of what I hear, but this has helped me a lot to learn English since at school they only taught me to conjugate verbs, which is not a true learning of the language

In my study program I would make several changes.  First, I would decrease the number of subjects because these are too many and many of them are unnecessary because the contents are similar to previous semesters. I don't like that every semester we have subjects of basic training that are similar to the previous semesters, I think these should be eliminated or should be reduced.  I think the major lasts so many years because more subjects are included, which happens in Chilean education in general.

There should also be subjects to develop oral expression, one of the most important elements for journalism.  This would also reduce study time because I consider memorizing information in journalism.  The practical part is more important, applying the knowledge every semester until mastering the work that we will do as journalists.

In addition, the infrastructure would have more green areas, that is, with more plants and especially trees, although I like that the buildings have fewer floors. Although I think the infrastructure should be more colorful.

I would also like the necessary equipment for a journalist as the television and radio studio from the first semester and for this to have more equipment for the students to practice.  Finally, I believe that the best teaching methods are the application of the contents, less exposure of them and more putting into practice.

I would like to go to Chile in 200 years in the future because I am interested in seeing the change  would have the country that I know a lot about today.  However, I consider that it is insufficient just to travel to Chile because it is only one country.  If I could travel in time, I would also travel around the world knowing the technological changes, which will be incredible if the world continues to advance like now.  Although a part of me believes that the future could be worse than today due to climate change so I would rather start in the Amazon.  Although that place is full of animals that can attack me, I prefer to be in the green lung of the world in an eventual polluted world than in cities full of smog.

I would like to travel through the Amazon with the technology of the future that would allow me to defend myself against possible viruses and bacteria that I could acquire in that place.  I would also like to walk through Africa and all those beautiful places, although I hope there is not as much poverty as today.  That would also be interesting to see: how much change the poverty and inequality in the world.  I guess that will decrease although I don't know to what level, maybe not much.  I just hope that it decreases and not that it increases, that would be very sad.

I would like to work editing fiction books in a publishing house.  Although I know that journalism focuses on the news media, I am more interested in literature and fiction.  That is why I want to dedicate myself to choosing the books that a publisher will accept and modifying them to get better.  I will also be fulfilling a person's dream.

This job would be indoors in an office, although in part I would still like to work outdoors.  Unfortunately I can't work outside with that job so I agree to work indoors in exchange for doing that beautiful job.

I would also like to travel in my work, what is possible as an editor.  If I stand out within the publisher, I can be a contest judge and even travel to distant contests.  I would like to travel from time to time because I want to have a family in the future and have stable friends.

I am currently studying journalism because I am interested in knowing about the current situation in the country and especially about politics.  Although I am interested in publishing fiction books, the major is so versatile that I can dedicate myself to completely different things.  Although my dream is to dedicate myself to editing fiction books, I would not mind ending up working on a radio talking about politics, as long as it is not about sports hahaha.

Since the pandemic began, I have been learning many things online, such as how to cook cakes, cookies, and many other foods.  For this reason I decided to practice and then sell some of the things I cook.

About two months ago I started selling a chocolate chip cake filled with nutella. It is like chocolate chip cookies because the dough is almost the same with the only difference in quantity of ingredients, baking soda and eggs.  At first I was unsuccessful, I even thought about quitting, until I managed to sell a cake.  Little by little, customers began to arrive, although I had bad weeks in which I even threw out cakes because I spent a lot of time without selling them.  Many times I thought about giving up but my sister motivated me to keep trying because nothing is achieved immediately.  So I continued until today that I sell at least one cake a day, which has helped me to pay the university.

As I felt confident of being able to sell the nutella-filled cake, about a month ago I decided to sell an oreo-style cake, that is, two brownies and a very sweet butter glaze in the center.  Although I love the taste of the cake, I have not been successful so I have looked for other foods to sell and have more variety.

Although I don't plan to do this for all my life, it has helped me get money and have fu n.

I have many hobbies but I will talk about one: writing books. I tried to write a book for the first time when I was 8 years old with a story titled "The beaver and the chick".

Since then I have written many stories and books. The first time I finished writing a book was when I was 11 years old with a book named "Trinidad". At that time I thought the plot of the book was interesting but now I think it is quite boring, I am even ashamed.

Then I wrote "time out", a book with which the same thing happened to me.  It was the first one I sent to a publisher, although I was unsuccessful.  Since then I have written several books until I managed to publish one last year in Trayecto publishing house, the one called "Monsters and Demons". This has not had many sales nor has it become a best seller but it allowed me to fulfill my dream of being able to see a book of mine in my hands.

I still feel happy and full when I write so I hope that soon I can publish another of my creations.

I chose my major when I was 15 years old because I love to write and debate so journalism is perfect for doing both.

In this major I can write about the reality in different areas like sports and politics!  It's fantastic to know a lot about different things and to be able to share it with people.

When I was a child I wanted to be a writer, but my mom told me that I couldn't live of that.  From that point on, I looked for different majors to find the right one for me.  I thought about psychology, but in that major I can't write about reality or the things I imagine.  For that reason I decided to study journalism because I will work writing.

The experience in the university has been good because I have learned a lot about journalism and the things I can do in the future like investigate a case of political fraud.  Also I have met very good friends.

I would like to go to France because I love its language and culture, it is so elegant.  I also know a few things because my cousin has lived there for five years and she has told me about the country and how to get a job there.  I know that the country is beautiful and a good place to live because they value the major I am studying.  Even the salary is better than in Chile.

I also know that life is expensive in Paris, but in other parts of the country the prices are similar to those in Santiago.  So I want to live there and study something in the future.

I want to visit the museums and churches because there are important beautiful buildings from medieval times.  Also, I want to live in a house on the French Alps, in Lyon, because it is a very beautiful place.  I would not like to live in a city because I have lived in one my whole life, I want a change.
